Student packs and reading before your SJB course
Use the course-specific student pack and reading list supplied or recommended for your booking. Ask SJB what is included, when you can access it and which references or optional Foundation modules you may need to purchase. The covers above preview the current SJB reading series; full learner materials require the appropriate account access.
Start with everyday electrical vocabulary and visual circuit examples, then practise Ohm’s Law, power and energy calculations at your own pace. Bring questions from your reading to your tutor. Preparation can support BS 7671 / 18th Edition, Minor Works, inspection and testing, electrical management and caravan maintenance learning; each practical programme keeps its own entry requirements.
